Aladar Kish was born at Wilmington, Delaware in 1949.

Following a first career as a carpenter, he returned to Columbia University in the City of New York to pursue architectural studies. There he received a Bachelor of Arts from the School of General Studies in 1979 and a Master of Architecture from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation in 1983.

In 2001 after working with the Swiss architectural offices of BAU, Favre Guth SA and J-P Cahen SA, Aladar Kish established a private practice inscribed with the trade registry in the canton of Vaud. First registered as KishCo Sàrl, this structure was transformed in 2003 to Aladar Kish Architecte.

Aladar Kish is also an associate at Patrick Giorgis Bureau d'Architecture SA
