Aladar Kish was born at Wilmington, Delaware in 1949. Following a first career as a carpenter, he returned to Columbia University in the City of New York to pursue architectural studies. There he received a Bachelor of Arts from the School of General Studies in 1979 and a Master of Architecture from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation in 1983. In 2001 after working with the Swiss architectural offices of BAU, Favre Guth SA and J-P Cahen SA, Aladar Kish established a private practice inscribed with the trade registry in the canton of Vaud. First registered as KishCo Sàrl, this structure was transformed in 2003 to Aladar Kish Architecte.
